Almost everyday The Nighthawk Project puts up a post about their walk and adds these beautiful pictures. I think that even more people should see these posts because they make me and my family happy and that is a good thing to add to your day. So even if you cannot get outside and walk with a great dog in a forest you can enjoy their walks. Thank you for these posts.
Hi all – yesterday on our way back from the sea, we stopped at a place I know right at the German-Dutch border. There you can cross the border using the old smugglers path. 🙂
It is fun to walk this path, imagining how people would have used this way in the middle of the night. So here we are on the German side looking over to the Netherlands.
Now we are in Holland looking at the German side 🙂
Easy to cross the border nowadays, it’s a simple cycle and footpath. It is also the old railway line as you can see on the Dutch side. They left the rails in the ground. 
We were extremely lucky weather-wise as we had sunshine while we were out there, on the back to the car we spotted the first rain clouds and even heard the odd thunder in the distance. Of…
