Today was the last day of the Miami dog conformation show. Last night I said to myself and my parents that I was going to go to the show and not only win in my class but that I was going to win in a higher class.
I did.
In Novice Junior I came in First and then in Best Junior I got Reserve Best Junior Handler! That is more or less second place. That means that I had to compete against Juniors that have more wins than I do. So you compete against all the Juniors that win in their classes, and one person wins Best Junior, and then the others compete again and then one more is selected for Reserve Best Junior, and that was me.
After the conformation competition I went over to the Agility ring and volunteered to help out. I did the Scribing, writing on the score cards what the judge decides for each dog, then I did the timer. My mom did the Gate Steward job. It was a nice way to spend the weekend.
After all that we went to Steak and Shake to get celebratory shakes.
