A couple of weeks ago I posted about our new dog, Mictlancihuatl Del Rey, a Xoloitzcuintli, or Mexican Hairless is a more common name. But I realized that I had made a mistake in writing about her lineage. She is related to the great Giorgio Armani xolo, but he is not her uncle as I thought, his father is her Great Great Grandfather. That sounds like a long time between but in dog breeding it is only about four years difference. Anyway, she has some great bloodlines running through her veins.

She is still wrinkly because she is a puppy. My parents say she reminds them of Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh stories when her ears were not up yet. My mom says she looks like Dobby from Harry Potter.

She was born on November 1 which is the Day of the Dead in Mexico. So since she is a breed that is from Mexico we thought that this name was perfect for her.

I am training her for Conformation and even Agility and I will probably take her after she is a year old to work with Sunny and do dog therapy work.
